High School diploma/GED and five years full time or Associate’s Degree and three years full time experience working in a Registrar’s Office, Admissions, Financial Aid or with Student Accounts. Experience working in Higher Education required, preferably at a Community College. Knowledge and experience working with Student Information systems, preferably Banner.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
- Oversee the registration process.
- Train temporary staff and work study students in the registration procedures and related registration activities.
- Create and maintain daily staff schedule for office staff.
- Problem solve, troubleshoot and address student concerns; research student and staff registration problems.
- Work as the registration liaison:
- Resolve both credit and non-credit issues with Continuing Education and Credit students.
- Disseminate this information to our Enrollment Services Center staff and coordinate rules and regulations between departments as they relate to registration protocol.
- Handle issues with vendor.
- Address student questions and issues in relation to transcripts and Parchment.
4. Utilize Element 451 as a customer relationship management (CRM) system to organize and complete daily tasks assigned.
5. Assist with Legacy upload into Banner.
6. Process batch registrations for credit and CE for special programs and assist with contract program entry.
7. Assist with projects related to compliance, i.e. NSC, legacy updates, SGASTDN notes related to processing and FRAUD, etc
Salary : $45,682 - $52,958
