What are the responsibilities and job description for the World Languages - Adjunct Faculty position at Community College of Baltimore County?

CCBC is seeking creative and experienced World Language instructors to join our program. We offer classes at beginning to high-intermediate levels of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Instructors should have fluency, expertise and experience teaching one of the languages offered. We offer classes during the day and in the evenings on our Catonsville and Essex campuses and in external high school locations. We also offer fully asynchronous online classes (additional qualifications are required). Adjunct instructors may teach up to 9 credits.
Instructors will be required to complete forms and documentation required by the college for employment.

Minimum Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in the language taught, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience teaching a world language in a college, high school, or accredited language school.
- Experience teaching world language at the college-level preferred.
- Strong instructional technology and learning management (LMS) skills
- Use of Brightspace is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
