We are seeking an experienced Hiring and Training Partner to support our Children’s Services Department. A Hiring and Training Partner will coordinate onboarding of new staff and ongoing trainings, in collaboration with management and Human Resources. This position is 40 hours per week, generally 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, and located at the South Paris Office.
- Pay Range: $23.50-$24.50
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for all paperwork from posting a job to onboarding candidate, which includes screening candidate’s documentation, making notes on interactions with candidates, and supporting new hires with all onboarding documentation.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date recruitment database;
- Create an annual, ongoing training timeline with Children’s Services department management;
- Gather and evaluate information from employees and management to determine the best course of action in coordinating trainings and training plans, tailoring training plans to meet the needs of the department, groups of staff, and individuals as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Associate’s degree in a business-related field is preferred
- Three years’ experience with administrative, recruitment, training, or relatable experience preferred
- Successful experience working with and training adults
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products and databases
Other Requirements: Excellent time management skills; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team; excellent communication skills. Pre-employment SBI, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, DHHS fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
