The Communication & Development Specialist is central to our agency's communication and donor strategies, working closely with the Chief Community Relationships Officer (CCRO) to enhance community engagement and brand visibility. You will manage and maintain the agency's website, co-manage social media with our Marketing & Events Manager, and support events to amplify our outreach. What You Will Do As a Communication & Development Specialist :
- Communications : Collaborate on communication strategies and create content for fundraising, marketing, and public relations, including newsletters and reports.
- Digital & Social Media : Develop and manage content across digital platforms, updating the website, and promoting posts to drive engagement.
- Development Support : Assist in executing appeal campaigns, direct mail, and email solicitations. Oversee social media strategies that support donor engagement.
- Data Management & Reporting : Maintain accurate records in the donor management system (Blackbaud), oversee data processing, and prepare reports for leadership.
- Event Support : Participate in fundraising and community events, ensuring marketing and outreach materials align with the agency's branding.
