Community Connections Inc. is looking for a Program Manager to join our Day Center team based in Fairhaven, MA. where you will work Monday - Friday, no eves/nights, weekends, or on call responsibilities. In this role you will support individuals with disabilities by managing the daily and on-going operation of all facets of the habilitation service at the North Main Street location. You will partner with staff and Service Directors to aid Community Connections in their mission to provide optimal independence and enriching services to people with disabilities. We are looking for someone with a commitment to advocacy, leadership, and serving the community.
What You'll Do as a Program Manager:
- Oversee the daily operations of of habilitation services
- Be responsible for achieving the program financial goals
- Oversee the program safety and health program
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, promote, transfer, discipline and terminate employees according to CCI policies and procedures
- Ensure the program remains in compliance with all regulatory bodies and that program data is collected, reviewed and analyzed to ensure clients of the program are receiving the highest quality of services possible
- Monitor and supervise all CCI administrative duties relating to the service
- Maintain effective communication with employees, administrative team members and Service Director
- Research, review, and share resource materials relevant to habilitation services and community integration with employees
- Facility management-maintain a program that is professional in appearance and meets the needs of the individuals served
- Client recruitment and retention
What You'll Need as a Program Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Day Habilitation setting
- Supervisory and Program Management experience, preferred
- Valid driver's license, access to a motor vehicle, and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and apply commonsense understanding to draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision yet work as a member of a team and consult with and advise others appropriately.
- Strong computer and word processing skills
