We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to join our team at Community Connections Inc.
Job Summary
The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safe daily transportation of individuals on route, assisting with vehicle entry and exit, and providing curb-to-curb service in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Transportation: Ensure the safe daily transportation of individuals on route.
- Assist with Vehicle Entry and Exit: Assist individuals entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
- Curb-to-Curb Service: Provide curb-to-curb service in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Safety Checks: Conduct and document vehicle safety checks prior to each route.
- Incident Reporting: Report and record all incidents to the Transportation Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Driving Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a licensed driver.
- Experience with Individuals with Disabilities: Experience and/or training working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to assist individuals in and out of vehicles.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Independent Work: Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Criminal Background Check: Satisfactory criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen required.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
