Summary
CCCC is recruiting for a Subsidy Director.The Director will provide leadership and management outlining priorities and mandates to ensure program compliance and delivery of quality services and efficient operations.
Duties
·Maintain DFD Instruction book with all written information received from DFD; Track policy revisions and assure that staff apply policies correctly in eligibility determination, termination and appeals
·Oversee the subsidy departments to ensure proper procedures are being executed
·Provide leadership and direct supervision subsidy managers; act as a decision maker for complex cases
·Coordinate with and meet quarterly to semi-annually with DCPP, CWA/BSS and CCVC centers as required
·Conduct monthly meetings with departments to set, review and evaluate unit goals.
·Assure that active case files are maintained, terminated and denied cases are properly stored.
·Enter and access data in CARES, OMEGA, and Work Life (WLS) as necessary
·Work with Trainer to implement training for staff, applicants and providers as needed
·Attend and participate in DFD meeting, trainings and conference calls
·Handle incoming reports of child abuse or neglect
· Notify DCPP, Institutional Abuse Unit, whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse and/or neglect, following CCCC complaint policy reporting procedure
·Report to Director of Finance and Subsidy Coordinators/Managers any reports or evidence of intentional program violations or other fraud such as forging parent signatures.
·Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Three (3) years of managerial and/or supervisory experience in the field of human services, child care services, child development, education, and/or social work.
- Excellent communication and Time Management skills
