The Certified Peer Specialist Program curriculum is designed with recovery as the core value. The Certified Peer Specialist will assists in providing an atmosphere that is conducive to learning core philosophies, helper attitudes, concepts, and skills related to recovery and peer support. In conjunction with the core training, the program also provides a broad array of technical assistance activities and support (before, during and after the core training).
