Purpose:
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program Manager provides the clinical oversight of all ACT services. The ACT team provides community based mental health services to adults with serious mental illnesses. As part of the team, he or she shall work closely with the ACT Team Lead(s) to provide quality assurance and oversight to ensure adherence to the ACT fidelity model, solid clinical documentation, and productivity expectations. The Program Manager will supervise the ACT Team Lead(s) in providing recovery oriented, individualized, trauma informed and effective treatment in a way that is respectful, non-judgmental and consistent with C4’s mission and vision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Clinician with either a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
- Licensure specific to the state of Illinois LCPC or LCSW required upon hire or withing one year of taking the position.
- 2-year minimum clinical experience working with adult clients with serious mental illness in need of intensive community support services
- A well-maintained personal vehicle for work related use, valid Illinois driver’s license, good driving record, and active vehicle insurance are required

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical supervision of the ACT team both directly and in collaboration with ACT Team Lead(s).
- Co-leads ACT staff meetings and treatment planning meetings with Team Lead(s)
- Directs the client admission process, treatment, rehabilitation and support services of the program in coordination with the psychiatrist
- Along with Team Lead(s), trains and supervises employees to procedures and clinical functions
- Oversees the process of ensuring documentation quality is in compliance with C4 standards as well as the monitoring of adherence to agency timelines, policies and procedures all in accordance with agency’s guidelines
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and accreditation requirements related to service delivery policies, practices, and reporting standards
- Develops, coaches, guides and determines individual performance expectations for direct reports.
- Establishes and fosters positive relationships with current and potential referral sources.
- Ensures new referrals are addressed in a timely manner
- Compiles reports and gathers data as requested
- Adheres to confidentiality practices and procedures according to agency policies.
- Maintains compliance at all times with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintains license and/or certification for position
