Description
Service Delivery Expectations :
1. Provides $76,931.96 collected service delivery annually.
2. Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
3. Provides community support services in compliance with DMH standards to children. Assists children and their families with resources and assistance in home, school, and clinic environment. Community support services (CSS) are services that help people live independently and participate in their community. CSS can include mental health services, housing assistance, and other services to help people achieve their goals.
Documentation and Quality Improvement :
4. Documents appropriate activities in case note format that justify the need for treatment.
5. Completes and submits service logs per agency policy.
6. Maintains case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills :
7. Attends and participates appropriately in clinical staffings.
8. Responds to clients needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
9. Demonstrates appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
Support Duties :
10. Completes additional job duties assigned by supervisor.
11. Participates in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services when assigned.
12. Serves as lead or back-up emergency on-call person when requested to do so.

Key Responsibilities
Requires DMH certification within 30 days of hire and maintained throughout duration of employment.
Requires excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requires satisfactory completion of CPR prior to reporting to the work site.
Requires satisfactory completion of CPI within 30 days of employment.
Requires valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
Requires ability to transport clients in private vehicle when necessary.
Requires completion of annual training in compliance with DMH standards.
Previous experience in a mental health setting strongly preferred.
Previous experience working with an SMI / SED or DD population in a treatment setting strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of the DSM.

Bachelors
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree in behavioral science or related field.
Licensure / Certification
Eligible for Community Support Specialist certification through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
