Description
Job Duties :
Service Delivery Expectations :
1. Provides medication evaluations and psychiatric evaluations to clients of CCS in accordance with acceptable practice guidelines and under a collaborative agreement with a psychiatrist.
2. Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
3. Orders appropriate psychotropic medications for clients when clinically indicated.
4. Sees clients as scheduled during med clinics.
5. Reviews and confirms clinical diagnoses.
6. Reviews and signs individual service plans.
7. Authorizes clinical services appropriate to the client's clinical diagnosis.
Documentation and Quality Improvement :
8. Documents appropriate activities in case note format that justify the need for treatment.
9. Completes and submits service logs per agency policy.
10. Maintains case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills :
11. Attends and participates appropriately in clinical staffings.
12. Responds to clients needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
13. Demonstrates appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
Support Duties :
14. Completes additional job duties assigned by supervisor.
15. Maintains professional certification and / or licensure and appropriate clinical training opportunities.
16. Participates in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services.
Key Responsibilities
Requires Mississippi License as a APRN.
Current licensure, malpractice, insurance, and DEA license must be maintained throughout employment.
Requires excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requires valid driver's license and auto liability insurance per agency policy.
Requires completion of annual training in compliance with DMH standards.
Requires working knowledge of the DSM.
Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting strongly preferred.

Masters
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in nursing
Licensure / Certification
Current APRN license, ANCC certification, licensed to practice in Mississippi, and current DEA license or ability to obtain
