Summary
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial statements and bank reconciliations, and supporting payroll, sales tax, and tax functions of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses of General Ledger and Income Statements
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements
- File and maintain client records and adhere to client confidentiality policy.
- Update accounting knowledge by keeping current with best practices, with support of staff training
- Review journal entries to ensure accuracy
- Support managerial staff in administrative duties as it pertains to client services
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team or with other departments
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned (reports, analysis and review processes)

- Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Qualifications
- 1 years professional accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field
- English proficiency required and second language (multilingual) proficiency preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Previous experience with any accounting software preferred
- Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office Suites
- Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
