- ADTs are empowered and supported to practice at the top of their scope of practice to include but not limited to:
- Wide range of operative cases as well as limited exam and recall exam
- Pediatric procedures including pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers and primary tooth extractions
- Permanent tooth stainless steel crowns
- Extraction of class III mobile permanent teeth
- Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
- Conduct oral evaluation and assessment of dental disease and the formation of an individualized treatment plan authorized by a collaborating dentist.
- Provide patient education in proper oral healthcare and various treatment options
- Provide a patient-centered approach and culturally competent care
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient electronic records
- Licensed with the MN Board of Dentistry
- CPR/AED Certificate
- Experience working with children and culturally diverse patients preferred
