Description
Join our team in St. Paul as a full-time Sterilizer! This position is integral in providing exceptional patient experience and assisting with the successful running of day-to-day sterilization operations in the clinic.
Who We Are
Community Dental Care is Minnesota's largest provider of comprehensive dental care for people of all ages on public programs. We operate five clinics across the state, including the Twin Cities, Rochester and Buffalo.
Responsibilities
• Instrument sterilization
• Packing of sterilized instruments into cassettes
• Stock operatories to ensure all necessary tools/products are ready for patients
• Assist clinical staff with patients and/or charting when needed
• Oiling of low-speed adapters
• Check ultrasonic equipment for proper working order
• Organize K-files/endosequence
• Adjust air pressure in dental units
• Change seal rubber of autoclave when needed
• Setup and clean operatories for dental assistants when needed
• General maintenance on clinical equipment when needed
St. Paul Clinic Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00m-2:00pm
Qualifications
• 1-2 years patient care experience or customer service
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities
• Ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced work environment
• CPR/AED preferred certification
