Position Summary
The Assistant Director, Contract Compliance will be the primary point of contact for grant compliance inquiries, contract execution, management, and closeout. In addition, this role will work closely with the leadership team to create and implement audit and compliance strategies, ensuring sustainable and compliant grant and contract management procedures for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and unit staff on program parameters, metrics, reports, and deliverables for initiatives/contracts
- Maintain deadline calendar, grant matrix, and create and circulate tracking forms to properly allocate grant funds.
- Analyze grant portfolios to mitigate potential audit or compliance risks and/or identify increased development efforts
- Ensure the efficient and cost-effective administration and financial management of grants and contracts throughout the organization in compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
- Track program outcomes and make recommendations for additional funding opportunities/sources s
- Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations and grant program requirements to ensure compliance
- Maintain and update pertinent electronic records, files, and response efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing funding partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Communication or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects on time, on brand and on budget
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and various technology applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of working well with others.
- Proactive, detail-oriented with strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to construct, articulate, and implement annual strategic development and communications plan
- Experience in marketing/promotional materials design
- Ability to safeguard confidential and sensitive information
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience and experience working in diverse and/or underserved communities, and in culturally attuned, trauma- informed service provision.
