Program Director/Ed/Dis/MH Manager
We are actively seeking a qualified Program Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of our Head Start program. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Early Childhood Development and general management. The Program Director’s responsibilities include supervising recruitment of Head Start staff, Head Start property maintenance, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with role players. The program director will also act as Education and Disabilities Manger. This includes working to develop an early childhood education curriculum; providing educational resources for staff and parents; and overseeing services to children with disabilities. As a minimum requirement, the Head Start Program Director/ Education Manager must have a Baccalaureate or advanced degree and equivalent coursework in early childhood education with early education teaching experience as well as experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and administration. Applicant must meet state licensing requirements for New York.
Schedule: Full-Time, 8am - 5pm, 5 days (40 hours per week, 52 Weeks per year)
