We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinators to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee all operation of before/after school programming occurring at the school placement received. Your passion for students' (K-12th grade) growth and effective development must be a priority in order to successfully fulfill the role. You must have a strong desire for service and taking action as there are crisis that occur throughout the day. You must have knowledge of all activities daily and organize the scheduled day effectively. An efficacious leader with knowledge of the team's mission, vision and goal is needed for program operations to run smoothly at your placement location.
Role
Overseeing all aspects of school operations include program hours, field trips, budgeting and team management.
Ensuring a positive and effective learning environment, fostering student growth and proper program output.
Conduct evaluations for students' progress, ensure that the Development Encounter curriculum is implemented in best practices.
Create a safe, fun and respectful learning environment for everyone, including students, staff and parents.
Lead and inspire staff, students and the community toward the mission and vision of Community Development to Success.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage calendars and schedule for student programing and field trips
- Manage staff such as development agents and change agents for before/after school programs
- Ensure that all roles are being fulfilled at the location
- Manage and properly organize students' files
- Respond to emails, phone calls and inquires parents have in a timely manner in ways that are effective for the parents and children
In a typical day, you might problem solve, use and oversee our Creative Curriculum training in Restoring the peace movement, and work a part of an amazing team.
Experience:
- Ability to manage staff and projects
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, Google drive, excel/Google sheets, Zoom
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
