About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Instructing/coaching students in:

Skill Development:
-
Teach fundamental volleyball techniques: serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging.

Progress players through skill levels with drills and repetition designed for mastery.

Team Strategy & Game Tactics:
-
Implement offensive and defensive systems appropriate to the team's skill level.

Teach players how to read the game, communicate on the court, and make smart in-game decisions.

Practice Planning & Execution:

Design and lead structured, engaging, and purposeful practices.

Start Date: June 16th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: Monday through Wednesday 8:30 am to 11:30 am
FTE: 0.225 (9 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching volleyball
