Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation for children ages 0-3 referred for suspected developmental delays or disabilities. Provides developmental supports, services, and on-going assessments in natural environments for children, age 0-3, and their families according to their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This requires planning for individual and group services which are provided in the child’s home or community setting. For more information, please see the job description for this position.
Start date: 6 weeks; Approximately 4/7/2025 - 6/2/2025
Schedule: Flexible calendar and hours; part to full time options. Salary dependent upon final schedule and hours; however, pay will be equivalent to $249.55/day or $31.19/hour. (BA 0, Step 1, long-term substitute teacher rate.)
Benefits: Benefit eligibility will depend upon final schedule and hours as determined at time of hire. Please see Certified Master Contract 2023-2025. Regardless of final schedule, Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) will be provided as required by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education and teaching licensure in Early Childhood Special Education: Birth to Age 6 as required by the State of Minnesota; must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 30 pounds.
