What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Assistant (CE Summer Adventures) position at Community Education / EDP?
The CE Summer Assistant provides supervision to students as assigned throughout the program day in CE Summer Adventures Camp. Duties include but not limited to organizing and leading age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors for summer EDP, providing and serving snacks, supervising lunchtime, and assisting with maintaining a clean and safe environment for students while in care. Staff must be in good physical health and will be required to spend time outside with students.
Required work hours are either 6:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m./12:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m. OR 8:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Must be available to work both AM/PM OR FULL DAY rotating shifts. Hours may vary depending on registration totals.
At least 3 years working with children is a must.
Programs run from June 30-August 8. Must be available for all 6 weeks!
