We are seeking candidates for an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Counselor for our Extended Outpatient level of care. This position involves carrying a caseload and facilitating groups each week plus individual sessions with your clients. This position will be primarily located in Iowa City, and travel to one of our satellite office in Tipton to provide services one day each week. K ey Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development, coordination, and evaluation of the treatment program.
- Conducts individual, family, and group sessions consistent with treatment plans.
- Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate.
- Maintains timely and accurate documentation reflective of client treatment plans and progress.
