Responsibilities
This position will have a designated lending authority and would be responsible for communicating credit decisions to our branch representative.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Communicate credit decisions to customers and perform credit analysis/investigations as outlined in the bank's policy and procedures
- Provides step-up authority to Direct Loan Representative I employees and DLR II employees with lesser authority
- Will have lending authority and underwriting responsibilities for employee consumer loans requests
- Assist Supervisor(s) in daily operations as they pertain to Direct Consumer Lending
- Provide periodic reports to Supervisor(s)
- Assist Supervisor(s) with updating procedures as needed
- Actively cross-sell other bank loan and deposit products
- Assist with and absorb additional Direct Consumer Loan related functions resulting from a merger/acquisition
- Provide quality service to customers (internal and external), coworkers and management
- Comply with established operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank’s adherence to outside regulatory agencies
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
Ancillary Duties:
- As an integral member of the Direct Lending Department, this position is responsible to assist the department, as well as the Bank, in achieving their goals
Qualifications
Education, Training and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree in related field of study or two (2) years’ experience in a related field preferred
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in lending is normally required
Other Job Information
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30, overtime and Saturdays may be required
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
