Position: Junior Financial Advisor
Objective: The Junior Financial Advisor will be responsible for assisting senior advisors with client management, financial analysis, and the development of comprehensive financial plans as well as managing their own book of clients.
Classification: This position is a Full-Time Exempt position who reports directly to the Investment Department Manager
Location: Howard County
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Senior Financial Advisors in developing and implementing financial plans for clients.
- Conduct research on investment products and strategies.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for clients.
- Attend client meetings and take detailed notes.
- Update client databases and maintain accurate records.
- Market financial products and services to potential clients.
- Stay up to date on current financial trends and regulations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Manage a book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the wealth management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics, or prior experience in the financial industry
- 1-2 years of experience as a licensed advisor preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with financial planning software and technology
- SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and Indiana Insurance License preferred, but not required.

- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with financial planning software and technology
- Strong interest in and understanding of the financial services industry.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
