Objective: The Float Operations Clerk will be responsible for working closely with the Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, and Digital Banking departments to ensure daily processes, dual controls and appropriate backups are in place.
Classification: This position is a full-time Non-Exempt position who reports directly to the Electronic Services Supervisor.
Location: Howard County
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing daily tasks assigned from the Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, and Digital Banking areas of the bank. Including but not limited to Mobile Deposit review, ACH processing, Positive Pay processing, Mail processes, and Account Maintenance.
- Assist with phone calls that roll over from the Contact Center including both business and consumer customers.
- Review of miscellaneous reports from the Operations area when needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties/task assigned by the Electronic Services Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in banking or banking operations preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to understand multiple systems/software to complete daily tasks.
- Understanding of deposit and loan account functions, with the capability to diagnose related issues.
- Proficiency in navigating and managing technical systems.
- Ability to work effectively with others and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
- Understanding and adherence to policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintaining privacy is a critical aspect of this role.
