What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Closer position at Community First Credit Union?
Handling a high volume of mortgage loans, the Mortgage Loan Closer acts as liaison between our members, the loan originator, the title company to provide consistent and exceptional service throughout the mortgage closing process. As a Mortgage Loan Closer with Community First Credit Union, you will:
- Handle all types of loans from purchase, refinance, construction, renovation, land loans
- Prepare and submit the closing package to the title company
- Prepare executed closing package for servicing to book loan on in-house servicing system once package is received from the title company
- Verify that all "prior to closing" conditions have been meet
- Ensure all documents comply with federal and state laws and regulations
We are looking for a combination of:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- One year of lending related experience with prior mortgage experience preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and web-based software packages
