Licenses or other required certifications: Must maintain a valid driver license, vehicle liability insurance, and a good driving record

- Performs minor repairs such as mechanical, plumbing, electrical and other building mechanics.
- Manages workload through work order system, working to complete high priority items before the end of work shift.
- Completes work orders within an acceptable period of time.
- Regularly travels between different facilities to complete projects/work orders.
- Communicates effectively with supervisor and team about issues or facility concerns.
- Maintains a positive cooperative working relationship by working, acting, and communicating with various personalities, getting along with residents, co-workers, families, contractors and visitors.
- Respectfully communicate with residents, families, and staff regarding any maintenance issues.
- Notifies supervisor of equipment malfunctions and issues within the facility.
- Troubleshoot phone, TV, and other electronic issues for residents.
- Performs tasks such as changing lightbulbs, carpet cleaning, moving furniture, etc.
- Assist other Maintenance staff with projects and work orders.
- Can support the Landscaper by assisting with outside work such as picking up trash, spraying weeds and light landscaping duties when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned and appropriate for the position.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities
- Flexible and adaptable in coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations.
- Must be open to learning new skills and improving mechanical aptitude through on the job training.
- Be able to work basic power tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills are necessary to include email communication, and the ability to use an iPhone to complete work orders within our system.
- Be available 24/7 for emergencies/snow removal in winter Possess mechanical aptitude
- Possess basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and carpentry
- Possess ability to interpret blueprints and read and comprehend operating manuals
- Must have the desire and ability to continue to grow and learn maintenance skills
- Must be able to work as a member of a team
- Able to effectively and safely operate all equipment
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and have the physical mobility for bending, stooping and climbing ladders
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and possess excellent judgment.
- Possess and exemplify a high level of customer service
Salary : $14 - $17
