Community First Solutions, Fleet is looking for a Part Time Passenger Driver to join their team!
The Fleet provides an array of transportation services to our clients and residents in the Butler County area. Services include transportation of clients, the delivery of Meals on Wheels, company interoffice mail, and Community First Pharmacy prescriptions. This employee will work work under the direction of the dispatchers/schedulers as well as appropriate supervisors and are expected to work as part of the team of drivers to ensure appropriate transportation coverage.
Salary
Is based on experience starting at $12.00 an hour.
Shifts Available -
Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
OFF on Thursdays

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses or other required certifications: Must maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and a good driving record to meet standards of our agency’s insurance provider. Must complete driver training program, First Aid/CPR, and passenger assistance courses required by the Council on Aging of Southwest Ohio and any other regulatory specifications. These courses and certifications must be maintained.
Experience: Minimum of two years of licensed driving experience.

- Assist all clients on and off of the vehicle as needed including proper securement of wheel chairs.
- Provide services as indicated on the daily route schedules via paper and/or electronic tablet.
- Maintain communication contact with dispatch and other drivers by radio and/or phone.
- Responsible for accepting client donations. Verify amounts and forward to appropriate personnel on a daily basis.
- Ability to understand written or oral instructions and document services delivered.
- Must be willing to work agreed upon schedule
- Must ensure passenger transport meets all regulatory specifications.
- Provide timely feedback to dispatch or supervisor regarding service failures and customer concerns.
- Ensure radios and electronic tablets are in good working order.
- Maintain and ensure daily vehicle log records are accurate and up to date. Check vehicle daily for maintenance requirements/needs and provide documentation when needed to departmental staff or designee.
- Attend and successfully pass all driver education classes as required by The Fleet and regulatory specifications.
- Work schedule may need to be slightly adjusted at times to accommodate business operations.

- Must be 21 years of age and have reliable transportation.
- Must understand and be able to access email, use a GPS device, electronic tablets and learn new technology as it relates to the job.
- Ability to understand the physical limitations of the older adult population and handicap person and capable of serving their needs.
- Ability to communicate with emergency service systems.
- Attend company and other meetings, seminars and training classes as directed by your supervisor or designee.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Team Player.
- Training in “transfer techniques” helpful but not required.
- Must be physically and independently capable of maneuvering in and out of vehicles and maneuver in and out of all types of homes, apartments, etc.
- Must have the ability to work in all types of weather conditions including hot, snowy and stormy weather.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate all equipment within the department.
