Come join our Community First Team as a Resident Lifestyle Specialist at one of our Luxury Facilities located in Hamiltion Ohio!
The Resident Lifestyle Specialist assists the Resident Lifestyle Coordinators and Director to plan, organize, and carry out a program of activities, which will provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation. Provides an opportunity for residents to express creative talent, and fulfill basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs. This includes activities within skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, Elements Wellness Centers programs, Trips & Travel programming, and volunteer coordination, as needed.
Schedule:Full Time (Must have Flexible Schedule)
Pay: Starting at $16 and goes up based on experiance
Minimum Job Requirements
Education: High School graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licenses or other required certifications: Personal Training certification preferred
Experience: 1 year or less experience in leading and assisting with a variety of activities and programs, preferably with older adults

- Personal Training Certification Preferred**
- Initiates and promotes a variety of activities both within and outside the facility to stimulate and promote resident interest, communication, and general wellbeing.
- Willingness to instruct classes both land and in water
- Provides prompt and accurate response to staff, resident, and family inquiries for information while always honoring confidentiality.
- Must be familiar with OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard and Company’s Exposure Control policy.
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge and understanding of national wellness and activity trends. This includes a primary focus on fall prevention, chronic disease management, evidence-based programming, and preventative health.
- Work a flexible schedule between multiple locations for maximum efficiency.
- Assists the Resident Lifestyle Coordinator with special events and functions.
- Supervises and transports residents during indoor and outdoor activities and community outings.
- Maintains resident activities documentation and charting as delegated by the Coordinator.
- Giving Tours of Facilites/ providing basic customer service
- For those specialists with personal training certification; plan and teach group exercise classes to residents, members and employees. This also includes 1:1 personal training, orienting new members to the facilities, and performing fitness assessments and exercise prescriptions.
- For those specialists with trips and travel expertise; plan trips, coordinate ticketing, and payments, coordinate transportation, manage marketing, track attendance, and billing, and be flexible with evening and weekend support and responsibilities.
- All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities
- Computer literate and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills in working with residents, employees, families, and the public
- Ability to be flexible, display dedication, sensitivity, patience, honesty, imagination, and resourcefulness
- Ability to multi-task and work in an environment of changing demands and frequent interruptions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Must be organized and detailed oriented
- Must have knowledge of the safe operation of vehicles when transporting residents
