As the Assistant Director of Compliance, you will ensure that all partner agencies adhere to the organization's policies and regulatory requirements. What you'll do in your role:
- Develop, implement, and maintain CFBNJ's compliance program to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, grant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Supervise regular audits and monitor visits of partner agencies. Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any compliance issues identified during audits.
- Act as a liaison between the state and CFBNJ, attending meetings, gathering information, and preparing it for communication and training purposes. Respond to compliance-related inquiries and investigations, serving as the principal point of contact for regulatory agencies.
- Create and deliver training programs to partner agencies to promote awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Provide regular reports to the senior management on the status of compliance efforts and any issues that arise. Collaborate with other departments to develop and update compliance policies and procedures and ensure a cohesive approach to compliance management.
- Motivate and lead the compliance team, providing support and guidance as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to food safety and distribution.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
- Experience with audits and regulatory inspections.
- Driver's license and dependable transportation.

Salary : $70,686 - $95,634
