What are the responsibilities and job description for the PART-TIME PEER RECOVERY SUPPORTER position at Community for New Direction?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Peer Recovery Supporters are responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment for residents in recovery. Peer Recovery Supporters will ensure residents attend treatment and are successfully phased to different levels in the program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintains open communication with counselor regarding residents’ recovery.
2. Completes necessary documentations and records.
3. Monitors residents’ activities and chores.
4. Drives residents to appointments and activities.
5. Assists residents with intake and move-in orientation.
- Complete other duties at the discretion of management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent, certified Peer Recovery Supporter, CDCA Certified or willing to complete certifications.
· Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license, must have a favorable background check, pre-employment drug screen and reference check.
· Must be fully Covid vaccinated.
