Position Summary
Our Family Based program provides comprehensive in-home therapy and family support services for kids with emotional or behavioral conditions and their families. It focuses on physical, mental, social and academic development for kids with help from their family members to encourage positive growth and change for the entire family unit.

Clinical Assessment & Treatment
- Function as the bachelor level clinician on the Family Based treatment team in conjunction with the master's level clinician and Family Based director/supervisor.
- Responsible for implementing clinical interventions and the writing and completion of treatment goals, safety plans and implementation of them in treatment sessions with consumers and family members.
- Be able to conduct assessments of strengths and safety, which includes physical, emotional, social and moral safety, assist consumers in accessing community resources, provide crisis stabilization, and case manages all services (agency and community) involved with the consumers/family.
- Have a working knowledge and expertise of family, individual, group, parent therapy modalities, S.E.L.F model (Safety, Emotions, Loss and Future) and utilize appropriately with consumers and family members.
- Follow through with treatment interventions, interagency meetings and aftercare plans as defined by the regulations and supervision.
- Conduct insurance authorizations and review with managed care organizations in order to establish medical necessity for the program.
- Trained and certified in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and able to successfully perform these interventions and techniques.
- Have a thorough knowledge of required paperwork expectations and complete all paperwork requirements in a timely manner.
- Maintain all documentation and fiscal standards. Maintain complete files and clinical documentation, track authorizations and complete insurance reviews within required timeframes.
- Comply with Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of all federal, state, mental health laws, policies, regulation and procedures regarding clinical care, best practice guidelines and appropriate fiscal requirements related to clinical services.
- Attend the 3-year agency paid FB training program (17 days per year plus 3 day first year startup training) and comply with all expectations and requirements of the training.
- Provide 24/7 on-call services in a rotating basis with other staff.
- Receive 1.5 hours of clinical team supervision per week with director/supervisor to openly communicate any issues, concerns and review treatment of consumer and families. Also receive 6 hours per month of group supervision with director/supervisor.
- Maintain up to date knowledge in current treatment modalities and training information, to include the Sanctuary Model.
- Maintain a working knowledge of agency policies and procedures and follow accordingly.
