Position Overview
Location: Reno, NV - Hybrid role (must attend some meetings on-site)
Community Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Health Informatics team. In this foundational role, you’ll support the collection, analysis, and visualization of data that drives clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making across our organization.
You'll work with a wide variety of data types and play a key role in analyzing data for annual UDS reporting, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis. As this is a hybrid role, you'll need to be comfortable using online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams to collaborate with colleagues across departments. Key Responsibilities:
· Create visualizations and dashboards that are both meaningful and visually engaging, helping users quickly digest key performance indicators and trends
· Produce reports required by public and private alternative payment models
· Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the Azara reporting tool
· Analyze data and collaborate with stakeholders to synthesize results and insights
· Develop customized reports to support ongoing and project-based quality initiatives
· Participate in process improvement and quality assurance activities
· Build data measurement tools to support clinical and operational improvement
· Prioritize incoming requests and clearly communicate delivery timelines and expectations
· Translate technical data into insights understandable by non-technical audiences
· Support and coach end users on how to interpret and apply data
· Translate trends into narratives to inform business and clinical strategies
· Audit data quality, investigate inconsistencies, and implement data integrity improvements
· Collaborate with EHR specialists and leadership to ensure workflows capture required data
· Maintain a work plan of reporting tasks and generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports
· Contribute to Meaningful Use reporting and optimization initiatives
· Participate in data governance and quality teams to enhance data systems and reporting accuracy
· Conduct audits to validate data against trends and internal benchmarks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding PHI and sensitive information
· Analytical thinker with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications or a bachelor’s degree in math, science, public health, or a related field
· Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other database and visualization tools
· 2–3 years of experience working with an electronic health record (EHR) system, preferably eClinical Works (eCw)
· Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar healthcare setting
CHA Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: $60,000
- 100% company paid employee medical insurance and 90% paid vision and dental on the 60th day from date of hire.
- Continuing education benefit available at 24 hours & $500 per year
- Paid Time Off:
- PTO 15 days/year and increased after one years of service: pro-rated based on FTE status
