Job Summary: The HIV Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating services and programs funded under the Ryan White Part B program to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This role involves overseeing case management, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, collaborating with service providers, and facilitating access to medical, social, and support services. The Program Coordinator acts as a vital link between clients, healthcare providers, and community resources, promoting health equity and improving outcomes for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and support services.
- Strong knowledge of CAREWare (any software platforms utilized/required by Ryan White).
- Proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of current ICD and CPT coding systems as it pertains to HIV treatment.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HRSA, as they relate to an FQHC in Nevada.
- Skill in communicating effectively to employees, patients, peers, and management.
- Skill in operating personal computer utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and other office equipment.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in all departmental and personal operations.
- Ability to accurately interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form in order to meet contract and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with other staff.

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 2years of experience in HIV/AIDS program coordination, case management, or public health programs. Experience with Ryan White funding and compliance requirements is strongly preferred. HIV/AIDS-related certifications (e.g., HIV Specialist or Ryan White Program Management) are a plus.
