What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Consultant position at Community Health and Counseling Services?
CHCS in partnership with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services Office of Child & Families Services (ME OCFS) are seeking Substance Use Disorder professionals to serve as Consultants within the ME OCFS offices statewide to provide substance use assessments, treatment recommendations, and referrals to individuals and families involved in the child welfare system. Consultants will also offer training and consultation services to ME OCFS on topics related to substance use disorder and treatment. SUD consultants will be located within OCFS district offices but will be employed by and clinically supervised through CHCS. Requires a current Maine LADC. Experience with the child welfare system and with providing support and education to parents and families preferred but not required.
