What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterilization Specialist position at Community Health Care Inc?
Salary range for this role is $16-$26/hr,
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans, sterilizes, oils, and cleans equipment; follows sterilization and safety guidelines.
- Performs routine maintenance procedures on sterilization equipment.
- Maintain logs and required documents for sterilization process.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing sterilization and HLD and the rules of accrediting bodies.
- Follows established policies and procedures for safety, infection, and exposure control.
Education: Graduated from a Dental Assisting program.
Licensure: Registered Dental Assistant in the state of Iowa and Current CPR certification.
Experience: Experience as a dental assistant preferred.
