Position Summary :
The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care to patients of all ages, including cleanings, screenings, and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving underserved populations and a passion for promoting oral health.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
