Duties include:
- Dispensing, adjusting and repairing prescription lenses, frames and contact lenses.
- Measuring and fitting all eyewear, taking optical measurements.
- Interpreting prescriptions and assisting patients in selecting appropriate eyewear.
- Coordinating billing activities, insurance verifications and reporting and reconciliation, adhering to established CHC guidelines
- Conducting physical inventories., maintaining displays and organized work environment.
- Ordering supplies including ophthalmic and sunglass frames and accessories, contact lenses and contact lens supplies..
- Communicating with multiple optometrists and registration staff regarding prescriptions, order pick up and meeting individual patient needs.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dispensing Optician, licensed in MA
- Three years of dispensing optical experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of optical products, including lenses and frames
- Demonstrated passion in providing superior customer service in meeting patient's diverse optical needs
