We are seeking an experienced and adaptable full time Medical Assistant Supervisor who will be open to providing interim supervision, training and coordination of various projects at clinic sites in the area as needed. This individual should be a high-energy and knowledgeable clinic professional with strong interpersonal skills willing to support regional clinic operations. Key Responsibilities:
Provide supervision to clinical team of Medical Assistants, including work assignment, training and development, and performance management.
Track and report clinic metrics and performance.
Implement programs to improve performance.
Build positive relations with site providers. Ensure providers have needed support to optimize patient care.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Address patient grievances and report these to management.
Coordinate regular inventory, vaccination management program, and other clinic operation needs.
Deescalate and resolve conflict in the clinic.
Fully trained to cover for absent staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 years supervisory experience in a clinic setting
- 4 years medical assistant experience in a family practice clinic setting
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- College preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
