Position Purpose :
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight and supervision of a team of Nurses and Medical Assistants. Provides a leadership role to nursing and medical assistant staff including recruitment, personnel management, day to day supervision, guidance and training / mentoring. Promotes the delivery of coordinated, high quality patient care to a diverse population and provides direct clinical nursing care at designated site. Is a contributing member of the triad site leadership team and promotes collaboration with medical and operations staff. Promotes high quality patient care by leading safety and quality initiatives at the site level. Works as a liaison between nursing leadership, nursing staff, patients and other CHCB staff and outside organizations as necessary.
Basic Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Good standing with the Vermont State Board of Nursing
- Clinical experience in an ambulatory health care setting strongly preferred
- Three years of full-time experience as an RN strongly preferred
- One (1) year of nursing leadership, supervision or clinical management experience required
