The Community Health Centers is known throughout Vermont for providing compassionate, affordable, quality health care to all who need it regardless of financial status or life circumstance.
- Provides outpatient mental health services and appropriate follow-up
- Provides consultation and case discussions to primary care providers to support psychiatric care within the primary care setting
- Provides clinical supervision for nursing staff as assigned for triage, medication refills, referrals and nursing services visits
- Provides appropriate teaching to trainees such as medical students, resident physicians, nurse practitioner students, and nursing students
- Coordination, documentation, and continuity of care for risk management
- Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement efforts
Basic Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training program
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- CPR certification.
- License to practice medicine in State of Vermont
- Board certification or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Successful credentialing and privileging by CHC and applicable insurance companies
Compensation commensurate with direct experience within the range of $200,070 - $244,530 annually.
