Evara Health Institute’s Program Directors serve as a bridge between the healthcare industry and the Institute’s academic programs. They are responsible for the daily academic operations and instructional delivery of one or more educational programs, ensuring program quality, compliance, and effectiveness. They serve as the lead occupational subject matter expert for their program(s) and are responsible for ensuring program effectiveness through intentional alignment of program curriculum, learning resources, and clinical experiences with industry requirements and trends. Program Directors directly oversee program faculty, managing faculty hiring, onboarding and training, evaluation, coaching, compliance, and scheduling. Program Directors work to establish a welcoming and effective learning environment and promote student engagement and satisfaction through the provision of extensive student support and academic advising. They establish and maintain industry partnerships that inform program development decisions and provide clinical experience and job placement opportunities for students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures academic programs and courses are delivered in alignment with educational standards, industry requirements, and student needs.
Informs the development and improvement of instructional materials, including course content, assessments, and learning resources.
Manages program resources including faculty assignments and scheduling, and facility, equipment, and supply management to ensure effective program delivery.
Oversees instructional delivery, ensuring implementation of instructional best practices through instructional monitoring, faculty training, evaluation, and coaching, and effective integration of technology and learning resources.
Partners with the Director of Education and Academic Operations to recruit, hire, onboard, orient, and train new faculty members.
Monitors student access to academic advising, tutoring, and remediation services, ensuring effective service delivery and student success.
Responsible for ensuring students sit for and earn relevant industry certifications.
Ensures faculty compliance with academic policies related to grading, attendance, credit transfer, and academic integrity.
Works cross-functionally to support the implementation of key education priorities including initiatives outlined in the Institute’s strategic plan, program effectiveness plans, and awarded grants or other sponsored programs.
Establishes and maintains positive and productive partnerships with program advisory board members, externship affiliates, employer partners, and industry organizations to enhance program relevance and opportunities for students.
Facilitates program advisory board recruitment, meetings, and communication.
Monitors and responds to key performance indicators, student outcomes, and stakeholder feedback to ensure program effectiveness and quality.
Ensures program team compliance with federal, state, and accreditation agency regulations and Institute policies and procedures.
Contributes to the preparation of accreditation and other regulatory responses, reports, and documentation
Strictly adheres to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations.
Serves as key member of program retention, certification, and placement committees, collaborating and cooperating with student support staff and others to foster student success.
Responds to student code of conduct issues in accordance with Institute policies.
Seeks solutions to student, faculty, and staff conflicts, grievances, and concerns.
Participates in campus events and activities (e.g., graduation ceremonies, community engagement).
Evaluates and approves clinical externship sites, assignment of clinical externship sites, ensuring appropriate student experiences and stakeholder satisfaction.
Collects and applies stakeholder feedback, student outcomes, and instructional observation data for continuous improvement.
Conducts monthly program faculty meetings.
Participates in routine campus leadership team meetings.
Keeps campus leadership abreast of program, faculty, and student issues and accomplishments.
Facilitates in-service training and professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching methodologies and program effectiveness.
Completes all required in-service training and at least 8 hours of professional development to hone instructional and management skills and to maintain required credentials.
Serves as a program faculty member as needed for qualified programs.
Completes other campus and program administration duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience providing direct patient/client treatment services, education, and/or care coordination addressing patient/client behavioral health needs..
Graduation from a program in the occupation or in an occupation closely related to the program required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a behavioral health or closely related field strongly preferred.
Active, unrestricted BCBA certification/licensure strongly preferred
Adult training or post-secondary teaching experience required.
Leadership or supervision experience strongly preferred.
Faculty management experience strongly preferred.
Distance education instruction or program management experience strongly preferred.
Strong aptitude to establish, develop, and maintain community partnerships strongly preferred.
Curriculum development experience preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION:
If required to work in the field, Program Directors must possess an appropriate, active, unrestricted industry certification/license.
