Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region seeks a skilled Family Practice Physician to deliver exceptional primary care services in our Castleton clinic. Responsibilities:
- Empower patients to take an active role in health maintenance and promote wellness behaviors.
- Provide appropriate patient follow-up and communicate effectively with patients.
- Refer patients to specialty care as necessary.
- Provide clinical supervision to mid-level providers and nursing staff.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Participate in State and National disease collaborative efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• A favorable completion of college, medical school, internship, residency, and possibly fellowship.
• Possesses and maintains current licensure to practice medicine in the State of Vermont required.
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
