Responsibilities include coordinating patient care through scheduling, registration, file maintenance and billing procedures.FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION :
- Answers the telephone.
- Schedules appointments.
- Directs calls to appropriate staff.
- Provides appropriate information as needed.
- Directs customers to appropriate staff.
- Registers patients.
- Enters or updates patient information in computer.SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior office experience preferably in a medical setting.
- Basic knowledge of computer skills.
