About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team at Community Health Connections.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabricate high-quality prosthetic denture products, including repairs, relines, and rebases, in accordance with established procedures and under the clinical direction of our treatment Dentist.
2. Optimize laboratory production by organizing and prioritizing daily work, following our denture scheduler, and ensuring timely delivery of dentures.
3. Collaborate with our denture scheduler to identify and resolve barriers that may impact denture delivery dates and quality fabrication issues.
4. Supervise and oversee the work of Laboratory Technician Trainees and Laboratory Support Technicians.
5. Maintain high-quality standards to minimize remakes and patient satisfaction issues.
6. Work closely with treating Dentists to ensure dentures exceed patient expectations, providing chair-side support when needed and permissible under applicable laws.
7. Partner with the dental team to meet denture delivery dates and support laboratory pilot initiatives.
8. Manage laboratory supply inventories, prepare orders, and maintain a neat and organized laboratory environment.
9. Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs to our Chief Dental Officer.
Requirements:
* Associate in Science - Dental Lab Technician degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician.
Educational Requirements:
* Associates or better degree required.
