JOB TITLE : Therapist
EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-Time, 35 hours / wk
SCHEDULED HOURS : Monday- Friday 10am- 6 : 30pm Flexibility

ABOUT THE PROGRAM : Brook House
A community based group home that provides 24 hour staffing and a built-in therapeutic component for 6 girls, aged 14-21 who have experienced trauma and loss, who have serious emotional and behavioral problems and who have lived in more restrictive programs or institutions. Brook House allows the girls to live in a more normal, natural setting within a community, while providing a high level of support and structure.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to evidence based model if applicable.
Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers
Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
Develops and provides therapeutic group therapy, individual, and family therapy
Additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Master's Degree in mental health field
Experience : Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and / or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned.
Licensure / Certification / Registration : LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed as Clinical Psychologist in State of CT. preferred, or may be license eligible

COMPENSATION RANGE :
Starting at $53,372 / yr minimum, and up commensurate upon experience.
Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of a strict calculation process, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program / location differentials and / or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
