INTERNSHIP TYPE : Internship - APRN Level
HOURS / SCHEDULE : 30 hours / week, Monday-Thursday, flexible
PROGRAM / LOCATION : Adult Outpatient, Enfield
ABOUT THE PROGRAM : ADULT OUTPATIENT
The Adult Outpatient Services program (AOP) assists adult clients who are recovering from traumatic incidents, substance use, or are looking to manage a chronic mental health disorder through psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
PROGRAM OUTLINE :
By participating as a Master's Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, working on independent living skills, outreach treatment services and medication evaluation and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Must be enrolled in a RN or APRN degree program.
Experience : Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration : Valid driver's license
