JOB TITLE : Child Crisis Therapist
EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time, 40 hours / weeks
SCHEDULED HOURS : Monday-Friday 8 : 30-5PM, evenings per week 11 : 30-8PM
PROGRAM / LOCATION : CT Hope, Willimantic, CT

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides crisis assessment, outreach, and follow up to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers
- Performs home and community-based care.
- Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
- Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Master's Degree or higher in mental health field
Experience : Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience working with serious emotional disorders and their families. Demonstrated training and experience in assessment, crisis evaluation and de-escalation of crisis situations. Has worked in collaboration with others.
Licensure / Certification / Registration : LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A, or higher licenses.

COMPENSATION
60,496 / annually minimum and up commensurate upon experience.
