Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team in Grafton, ND. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting efficient clinic flow by assisting providers and nurses with day-to-day tasks, performing laboratory functions, and interpreting and translating for CHSI staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes pre-visit preparation documentation
- Assists with health-related tasks, including collecting and recording vital signs, basic in-house labs, and calling patients with lab results
- Supports minor office procedures, examinations, patient education, and referrals
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collects and prepares human samples for analysis, stores samples appropriately, and uses appropriate labeling
- Performs tests in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and urinalysis
- Uses analyzers and instrumentation according to manuals, troubleshoots problems, and seeks assistance from Quest Diagnostics or supervisor as necessary
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and good communication skills in both English and Spanish. Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills are also essential.
