Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager for our Women's Health Department. The Practice Manager, in collaboration with the Clinical Director, supports general oversight and leadership of our busy department. A vital member of the department leadership team, the incumbent will generate innovative ideas to support the continuous improvement of clinical operations, provider workflow, patient satisfaction and financial performance in accordance with organizational Core Values.
The successful candidate will :
- Bachelor's degree in health care administration (or similar) OR Associates degree in health care administration (or similar) and 3 years of experience in clinical practice management OR High School diploma and 5 years of experience in clinical practice management
- Demonstrated successful implementing strategies for improving provider productivity, open access scheduling and / or team-based care
- Business acumen and knowledge of clinical care delivery to assist in the development and execution of strategies for growth and improvement
- Demonstrated experience managing daily patient / client flow, including patients who present on a walk-in or urgent care basis
- Previous experience providing direct supervision - including training and assigning and tracking accountability - to a diverse workforce
- Superior communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners and stakeholders
- An aptitude for collecting, analyzing and presenting data and comfort making defensible, evidence-based decisions
- Experience making value-added contributions to enterprise-level projects
- Skill with electronic health records and practice management technology and mastery of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word Facility
- Skill in exercising initiative, judgment and discretion to help achieve organization objective
- A resourceful, problem-solving attitude
- Alignment with the organizational mission
