6am - 2pm Hours Open, Rotating Week:
- Week 1 : Friday, Saturday
- Week 2 : Sunday, Friday
Base Wage (without the differentials): $36.06 - $45.56/hr (RN) and $28.95 - $36.00/hr (LPN)
Weekend shift differential: $4.75/hour
Summary
As a Charge Nurse at Community Health Services Campus, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care while leading nursing staff in our skilled nursing facility. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of enhancing the well-being of our residents through compassionate and comprehensive healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and perform IV insertions as needed.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably within skilled nursing or assisted living settings.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and venipuncture techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for team collaboration.
- Knowledge of hospital medicine practices is preferred but not required.
- Experience with urgent care or emergency room settings is a plus.
